Probation Accepting On-Line Payments

Cleveland:  The Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court Adult Probation Department is now accepting on-line payments.

Payments for restitution, supervision, and electronic monitoring fees can be made through the Court’s website. The Court has contracted with the agency GovPayNet to accept major brands of credit, debit and prepaid debit cards for payments twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.

“In this age of digital payments, it only makes sense to provide this option,” says Court Chief Probation Officer Maria Nemec. “Especially if a family member is looking to help a loved one complete their financial obligations. We don’t want them to have to make a trip to the Court or one of our satellite probation offices.”

The Court’s online probation payment program can be accessed through the Court’s website at cp.cuyahogacounty.us. Those making payments will need the first and last names of the person they are making payments for, the payment amount, and the case number, if available.

Payments can also be made by phone at 1-888-604-7888, and GovPayNet has a fully staffed, bilingual call center available 24/7.

GovPayNet handles more than 2.1 million payments annually to over 2,600 agencies in 36 states reaching more than 26% of all U.S. counties. They have been in operation for more than 20 years. The processing is secure because no cardholder information is retained on the GovPayNet or Court systems.
